Marie Jose Comte is an Italian-Swiss artist based in Biel/Bienne. Following an artistic education at the Accademia di Brera in Milan, a degree in architecture at EPFL in Lausanne and training in art education at the University of Bern, she has been creating installations, drawings, paintings, collages and photographic works since the 1980s. Her work revolves around people, nature, space, rhythm and transformation.
At étage 19, Marie José Comte presents an installation and drawing-based body of work that brings together the observation of nature, spatial thinking, repetition and transformation.
Lieselotte Togni is a prominent artist on the regional art scene in Biel/Bienne. Among other things, she has been featured in several ‘Cantonale Berne Jura’ exhibitions at the Kunsthaus Biel Centre d’art Bienne, for example in 2016, 2021 and 2024. No further verifiable biographical details were found during a quick search.
Lieselotte Togni is featured on the E19 map with *Black and Brown*. As no specific text relating to the E19 presentation has been found, the exhibition text limits itself to the information visible on the map and her documented regional exhibition history.
Linda Pieri is a designer and artist whose work is described by the Bern Design Foundation. There, her practice is characterised as being marked by a morbid sensuality; mention is made, amongst other things, of her 2013 work *Mains*, in which skeletal hands encircle the wearer’s neck, raising questions about love and transience.
Linda Pieri is once again taking part in an E19 group exhibition. The artist token, which was created back in 2021, is being reused.
Anna Pieri Zuercher, born in Biel/Bienne, is an actress, pianist and filmmaker. She works in film, television, theatre and music, and performs in French, Italian and German. She has made a name for herself through roles in Swiss and international productions, as well as playing the investigator Isabelle Grandjean in *Tatort Zürich*; she also develops her own film projects.
Anna Pieri Zuercher is featured on the E19 map with *Les Indecis*. As no specific E19 text describing the work could be found, the entry is categorised as a performative or interdisciplinary piece drawing on the fields of theatre, music and cinematic storytelling.
